Hello everyone!
I think it would be really nice and unique feature to being possible to midi-link the steps of the step sequencer to some external controllers
Could be something like this:
1. you assign the lowest midi cc for step 1 (let's say midi cc#1) and all the other steps are automatically assigned to the next midi cc -> step 2 = midi cc#2; step 31 = midi #cc31;
2. only the current selected channel (which can already be switched by midi) will receive the midi data
3. depending on the selected channel, the controller receives midi feedback (maybe by sending back the midi cc - specified above...)
Controllers which would be perfect for that seem to be Novation Launchpad/Impulse, Akai APC20/40/LPD8/MPKmini, ICON iStage,... because they offer midi feedback... but still all other controllers could be used....
What do you think about it?
