midi: soft takeover

Hey guys,
i was chatting with a friend of mine the other day. he is using ableton with the apc-40. i am using the korg nanokontrol (4 different assignable scenes) to control my mixer in FL Studio. so the thing is, when i switch from one scene to another and change the value of a fader for example and then switch back to the old scene and move the fader to control another automation clip, the value of the triggered parameter will "jump" from its old to the current value. my friend doesn't have this problem: ableton (or the apc-40?) is waiting until the fader is back in its old position and then starts changing values.
so here's my question: is there a possibility to implement exactly that behaviour into FL Studio? would be great!
