ZERO plugins found in 12.5 - RESOLVED

I dunno what has changed in FLs plugin search method, but I've just installed the new 12.5 update, and scanned for plugins, and even though I have over 1000 on my system, and the FL search paths are pointing directly at the folders they live in, FL is finding no plugins, even though the version I was using this morning has every single one of them listed.
This is 2 updates now that have both shown 0 plugins.
I have tried searching with all the verifiers switched on and nothing makes any difference. Very frustrated with this.
