Might sound a bit of a basic question but I have just started actually using Audio Tracks and Instrument Tracks. I like the automatic link between channel rack, mixer track and playlist.
For audio tracks though I have for example a prerecorded guitar recorded from a while ago which I am now mixing. I dropped it to the playlist, did the timing etc and when happy, converted it to an audio track to get the ease of use of all the links within the studio.
But, then I see on the playlist there are record/monitor buttons and a level meter on the track. When I record directly into FL Studio I am used to this but it got me thinking, am I misusing the audio tracks feature for audio clips and maybe causing unnecessary overhead for the sake of getting those automatic and convenient links?
