Kontakt Player Don't Play Notes on FL Studio

When in a new project and playing around with Shreddage 3 in Kontakt Player, the pluggin shows that it can play the sounds the notes that are set up. However if I open up an older project and then replace a plugin with the Kontakt Player, it will not play the sounds then. Is there a way to fix this?
