Split Mixer Tracks for Track Consolidation

I can already do this the long way by splitting *all* mixer tracks of the whole song and then selecting the ones I need for the specific part, but that's kind of a ridiculoud process to repeat if I decide later yo change change *anything.* I find it would be extremely useful if the "Split Mixer Tracks" button was not greyed out for no apparent reason when consolidating tracks. With this option, I would not have to bake-in the sidechaining processing. Please consider this feature.
