I couldn't find an existing discussion on hardware, so starting this thread.
wondering how much performance there is to be gained by upgrading from an intel Core-i7 to, say, a Core-i9 processor, and which models in particular.
Plus any other hardware components that help with 1) performance and 2) rendering speed
I have had FLS choke during real-time rendering (playback), on a Core i7. (Such that I have to render to file to actually hear work in progress)
I realize that the more RAM the better - but how much does RAM increase actually help as compared to a better CPU?
thanks.
