I've been having a problem with FL studio 9 messing with my audio driver.
I just moved my OS to Windows 7.
My audio interface is to an external Presonus Firepod and I am using the ASIO driver to connect with FL Studio.
I have no problems with the Presonus. I can use it all day. But once I start FL Studio in a few minutes time the Presonus
will stop producing sound from any application.
When trying to test the audio using Windows' "Manage Audio Devices" I get a message upon clicking test that says the
audio device is currently being used by another application. The message appears even thought FL Studio is closed
and even off of a clean boot.
The only remedy has been to uninstall/reinstall the Presonus driver. I have gone through this cycle many times and
the Presonus will consistently stop working after letting FL Studio run for a few minutes (it doesn't seem to make a difference
what I do inside FL Studio).
The only other thing I noticed is the once the problem occurs I also seem to lose some kind of connectivity with the download
manager. The online library listings (and even the downloaded listings) are blank.
Please help. Right now FL Studio is completely unuseable for me.
Thanks!
