I used to use FL studio on windows xp with no problems. I recently set up my computer to dual boot xp and windows 7. I changed no hardware at all. I installed the lastest FL on windows 7 (64 bit), and some of the samples in the demo songs can't be found. So I go into the channel settings for the sampler tracks that have missing samples, and I go to the file browser, and I see the samples right there in the demo songs folder (or wherever the particular sample might be). So I open the folder in windows, and I try playing the waves in windows media player, wavosaur, audacity, etc, and it wont play! *EDIT* It will actually play only in Audacity
I'm almost positive this is a Windows 7 problem, so I apologize for posting it here. But I can't find a solution on google to this seemingly simple stupid problem. Someone else must have had this problem, I thought.
It seems only 1411kbps bitrate waves can be played. I never had any problems with not being able to play waves on XP.
Many thanks
