Akai MPK25 Note Repeat out of sync (Play/Record)

Hi,

I have FL Studio 10 installed on a Dell (Windows XP SP3, Intel Centrino Duo 2Ghz, 2gb of ram) I am having an issue with the Akai MPK25. I loaded the included FL Studio preset and almost everything works fine. I tried out the note repeat function and used some of the velocity sensitive pads. Everything is responsive and the selected sample plays according to how I press the pads (in sync with tempo). As soon as I press play or try to record the notes play out of sync (tempo).

If I left something out let me know. I tried changing my MPK25 midi clock to external (Adding a midi out, sending master sync to a certain port number, changing applicable ports to that same port number) but after doing this the note repeat function doesn't work. Help!!
