Know this can be done manually, yet feel it would be beneficial for all.... Of having another midi folder of basic patterns, labeled with basic names.
Many of the patterns are complex, yet there could be a basic 4 beat, every second beat, in-between beats, etc... Since your just needing a raw sequence, to add to an already existing scale, on many occasions; you don't really want any pitch notation, as many have currently, just something that can trigger the synthesis alone.
