can't get image...

For some reason a picture is dissapeared on my 'Home' page. There is a small red X in his place (see red arrow) and when I click the window 'Customizable template images' get open. I see my picture there but when I select that image an click Ok, there is nothing changed. Also tried with another image, same result. I can 't set an image on that place. See attachement to make it more clear...

Second question: is it normal when I close EZgenerator and won't save a changement that the program save it anyway, because when I re-open EZgenerator the changement is done...?
Perhaps a setting I must do, but I can't find it...
