Deactivate confirm email in newsletter page

Hi everybody,
in another post I've found out that it's possible to skip confirm email in a newsletter page, but it was not explained how to do it.

This is my problem:

I want to replace the Request page with a Newsletter page in order to let my customer receive info as request page, as well as send News and Offers to his potential buyers.

However, there's a problem with the Newsletter form, as my customer receives "info" email only if people who fill in the form confirm the subscription, and this is not acceptable.

Is there a way to avoid it?
