Purchasing an east-west product but want opinions.

Ok, as i further into my film/game audio dream, i need better quality sounds.
Listening to some of the vst's on their site is pretty epic.
I mainly need everything that would be in an orchestra. Pianos/strings/woodwinds/choirs/intense orchestral drums. and good ones
I was convinced on getting the symphonic orchestra silver edition (Which was only $200), when i came across the "Ethno world 5". Pretty much sounds like it has everything i need. Epic choirs, good strings, and very nice percussions. Only problem is its almost $500. why?
My question, does symphonic orchestra have as good percussions/strings as the ethno world 5 ?
What is the good/bad things about them both? (If you know).
Thanks, i just want to take the next step in my career and i want to make the most smartest, financially responsible way.

You can hear some ethno samples here
