New Pc vs Optimize Harmor/Harmless

Admit need to get a new PC, yet when i can write full projects with allot of plug-ins out there; pondering if its Harmless's and Harmor's fault more then my PC... Basically with 3 copies of Harmless within a project, its starting to overload the lot.... With even less copies of Harmor within a project its overloaded.

So my question is there anyway to cut down their resources more, by switching more components off within them, if not used.... or do we need a new top of the range PC to use them?
