So I just got Battery 4 a few weeks ago and have this weird problem. If I use their stock samples or use my own, every sound has a trigger note and you place that note in the piano roll to play the sample. Lets say I want to play a kick sample, Battery 4 says the trigger note is C3. If I place a note in the piano roll on C3 It doesn't play C3 (The kick) in Battery it plays the sample that says the trigger note is C5. So essentially If I want to trigger a sample in battery and it says the trigger note is C3, I have to put a note on C5 in the piano roll for the correct sample to play. Everything is pushed up two steps. If battery says C2 to play the sample, you have to put a note on C4 to play it.
I hope this makes some sense to anyone who uses Batter 4. If I have to, I'll make a video.
tl;dr
If I want to play a sample in battery and the trigger note is C3, I have to place a note in the piano roll on C5 so it plays the correct sample. Everything is pushed up 2 steps.
