Volume limiting solution for headphones?

I generally use a Pod x3 as my output device through which the volume is loud enough on headphones with the master volume set quite low.

Once in a while the volume level will be way too loud on the headphones, where I've forgotten to turn it back down having been playing through room speakers etc., & I have to quickly turn it down.

I'm wondering if there is anything on the market that I can use to ultimately limit the volume on the headphones?
