Hello everybody, here is the Glockenspiel that I promised. :)

What is a Glockenspiel you may ask? It's a percussion instrument consisting of a series of graduated metal bars tuned to the chromatic scale and played with two hammers. You may have heard it in such musical acts as Jimmy Hendrix, Radiohead and Bruce Springsteen.

(Link now dead and removed, if anyone still wants this ask for it and I will put up a temporary download) It was recorded and saved in 44.1khz 24bit Stereo, there are 200 samples covering 3-octaves 2 velocity layers each with round-robin in Directwave. This pack is 145MB compressed as a RAR and 250MB uncompressed. You'll need winrar or similar to uncompress it. If you don't already have winrar then get it, it's free. More detailed information is included in the readme.

Here's a demo to moisten your ears

Directions:
Unzip and place "Glockenspiel" folder into a directory associated with FL Studio If you haven't created your own, the "User" directory is usually sufficient. Example: "C:\Program Files\Image-Line\FL Studio xx\Data\Patches\User" After that, simply load up the preset in directwave.

Note: If you use multiple versions of FL Studio, it's good practice to keep all of your samples in individual folders and together in a single location, so that all of your DAWs can access the same folder such as "C:\samples" to avoid unnecessary duplications. It's also easier to make backups, and generally more organized this way.

Enjoy
