Browser sample preview delay

After updating to 20.9.1 I noticed a bit of a delay when previewing samples in the browser. Prior to the update I could use my mouse to spam a sample in the browser and get an idea of how it would sound without dragging it into the channel rack and creating a pattern.

Now there seems to be a bit of a delay when I rapidly click on a sample from within the browser.
If I drag the sample out of the browser into the rack and open the channel settings and click on the sound from there there's 0 delay.

To reproduce this try selecting the "Filtered Kick.wav" sample from "Packs\Drums\Kicks".
Hover over it in the browser and rapidly hit left click.
There's a bit of a delay between when the mouse is clicked and when the sample is played.

Now, try dragging "Filtered Kick.wav" into the channel rack and opening the channel settings of it and rapidly click the sound file at the bottom in the sampler section, the delay is gone.
