Ubuntu and FL Studio. It's not that hard to accomplish. If you run Ubuntu, go into System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager. Now, look up "wine." If it does not appear in the list, go to Settings > Repositories and check the Universe check box. After installing, run the FL Studio installer (may require typing "wine /installer/directory/FLStudioInstaller.exe." After completing the installation look in Applications > Wine > Programs for FL Studio. Try launching FL Studio.

FL Studio 8.5 Beta runs fine in Ubuntu GNU/Linux. No mods needed anymore. Just download, install, import registry with the WINE registry editor, and enjoy.
