FL for life user here.
In protools you can record over portions of a line without cutting and deleting anything. Just by punching in over existing audio you can "overwrite" that area..
So lets say you record 3 lines of vocals on a song and you dont like the second line vocal delivery. You can just hit the record button before the second line .. punch in and punch out the recording for that line it and there you have the three lines without any extra editing necessary.
this might be a nice "mode" to have like how we have loop recording mode.
Overall would love things that help make the vocal recording process less of a mess management of audio clips.
