Possible to disable smoothing of scratch clock automation?

Hello,

I find that automating the scratch clock provides a very useful way to create longer, complex sequences intuitively in the playlist without having to seamlessly chain gross beat patterns and trigger them with MIDI.

Unfortunately for my purposes, the scratch clock seems to smooth any input automation automatically. I tested this by creating a stair shaped "curve" in the automation clip and hearing that the scratch clock is smoothing out the jumps in time, creating scratch effects (as advertised, I guess) instead of clean jumps like I want. And I confirmed that I did not enable smoothing in the "link to controller" dialog.

Am I missing an option to disable scratch clock smoothing, or is it impossible? I think it would be fantastic if this were a toggleable option.
