IL and VST2 in the future??

Just being curious:

How does IL jugde the new EULA which as far as I understood right cancel all previous VST2 agreements... from what I read people don´t really know how is the actual statement as everything is a bit wishywashy...

What does this mean for a host developer supporting VST2 plugins...
Does this support has to be taken out as you basically do not have the rights anymore??
