Disable pattern numbering?

Since one of the last updates, FL Studio automatically numbers patterns. For example, if I have a pattern which is called "bass" and I create a new pattern and also name it "bass", FL Studio automatically renames it to "bass #2". This is absolutely annoying and I wonder how to disable it? I categorize my patterns by vers, chorus etc. and it makes no sense if I have "lead" pattern under "vers" and "lead #2" under "chorus".
