I tried taking some of my BFD samples and chuck them into FPC but it doesn't seem to like them. I tried opening them in Audition and found that they are multiple channel WAVS (i.e. have several samples at different levels of the same drum) I'd love to be able to drop these into my FPC as this would save me a whole load of time chopping up my old BFD kits... and would reduce the number of drum samples I have making sure they stay together!!. Multiple channel WAVS seems like a good idea in principle but having a WAV extension is a little daft if you ask me as you can't tell at time of loading. I tried changing the extension to WV (WavPak Audio file) but this didn't work... can anyone tell me the difference between them and how the future is looking for these formats. Tried WIKIing but not a great deal of solid data about them.
Thanks
