What I am about to say is not a reason for complacency. We have a lot of big changes coming....
BUT I hate to break it to you, but most users hardly touch 10% of the features that already exist. This is not a real problem. The attention of most users is toward plugins to provide new and innovative features for their DAW.
If you are spending your time ogling features that appear in other DAWs I can imagine it seems this way.
It's a constant never ending cycle of competition for attention among DAWs. We are (more than) holding our own (with significant growth) and not resting on our laurels.
