The Perfect setup of FLs20 on new laptop

Hi all
If you have a new....
Laptop
1 terrabyte portable hard drive

And could go back in time to make the most perfect setup for FLs20 what would you do and what would you not do???
Eg.. the way your install FLs20..the way you configure your laptop or keep older windows instead of windows 10..the way you store all your sample packs and projects on a portable hard drive???

If you could list out in steps the best setup process from turning on new laptop to setting up your fls20 would be sweet..

If there's any things to avoid doing that you regret or wish you did it differently please let me know...
