I saw a seaboard blocks going for a really good price and stupidly bought it without doing any research first . I'd seen some videos a while back and thought they looked pretty neat but way too expensive, so when I saw one going cheap I grabbed it.
what I didn't realize was that MPE was a different thing to standard midi, and that FL didn't support it. doh, my fault for not looking into it before impulse buying.
I see in some previous threads MPE is a low priority for IL (especially seaboard specifically with roli being dead). Does anyone know of any good workarounds to get some functionality from the seaboard in FL?
I've never used any other DAW so I'm reluctant to learn another daw just for the seaboard.
else, does anyone know if there is any potential for some software MPE->midi 2.0 hacks happening at some point in the future?
if FL is really unlikely to get MPE any time soon and if there are no workarounds I'll probably just sell the thing (can likely make a few quid from it at least!)
