I want to switch to linux all together. My real concern is music though. Not going to switch DAW, and I know it can't be installed out of the box. Have been following the linux thread since the beginning and I'm pretty convinced it's runnable, but would love to have more insights on the possible/probable issues.
1- AUDIO: what are the chances of my current audio card being compatible or usable? Is it a question of drivers?
2- VSTs: Has anyone tried to install Spectrasonics and or Native Instruments with it?
3- LATENCY: Is it really a thing? I mean, does it bring more latency that WW? Heavily relying on mixer routing, so I'm concerned.

Originally wanted to ask on the linux thread, just concerned that it can get locked, and that the question might get buried in between non related linux comments.
