A small curious question:
Is there anyone here that uses FL at 960PPQ to make highly complex projects ( e.g. >100 mixer tracks or lots of heavy plugins and fx/routings)?
I mean, I personally still work on a i7 3770 at 4.2Ghz on all cores and I'd love to work at 960PPQ but my PC can't handle my projects which are pretty heavy, so i found that 384PPQ is my performance/resolution sweet spot, even if sometimes i have to raise the soundcard latency to 1024.
But I'd like to know if current PCs (intel/amd/mac whatever) are now capable of using FL at maximum PPQ and possibly low soundcard latency (less than 512/256) without any hiccups even on heavy and complex projects.
I know that "heavy and complex" can be extremely subjective but I'd like to know your experiences anyway.
Please if you can, post some PC specs, PPQ and latecy along with an example of what you consider a heavy project.
Thank you
