I am recording to WAV files using the FL mixer. I would like to be able to cancel the audio output so that the audio data only goes to the file and is not playback while it is being recorded. I was trying to use the volume slide of the channel to accomplish this, but I found that the gain actually works over the data that is saved, so if I set the volume to zero I get silence in the saved file. I was able to mute the output using Edison, though, but I really want to do it directly while saving the file. Any suggestions?
