Problems with recording

Hey guys,

I just bought a recording microphone and all the equipment to get it linked to my computer.
I didn't buy a audio card yet (yes, i know, i should buy one ect.), but i want to see if I can record
with FL studio too.

I didn't really get wiser from the help part since thats rather complex for me.
It says something about arming your device into a mixer track (or something like that).
For me that sounds like you need to select something from 'in' which is above the effect 'slots'.

Nothing shows up for me there but when i check my computer settings it says
i have a microphone and when i talk into it it responds on my computer so its nothing
to do with my setup.

I did download some ASIO drivers (something with ASIO4ALL) but I don't really
see what's that gonna do to help me with recording.


Can anyone just tell me in a simple fashion what to do and where, maybe
its even better to make a picture from some screenshots so i can see where i have
to be if you tell me to click on some button.
