Edison not the be all to end all?

Ok.

So i haven't been around Fl since V5 (i know, shoot me)

I am an industrial musician, and the last record i recorded i used Fl for all the programming, and Cubase for the audio.
With the advent of Edison, is FL the ONLY prog i need now?

I trolled the forums, and many have said that Edison is not all that great for recording audio for a full song.

Yet, the promotion for Edison is all about having up to 64 tracks of simultanious audio recording.

Am i missing something here?

Should i still be using Cubase for the bulk audio work? Or can FL do it all, like i've been praying for all along?
