Still having latency issues!!

I am still having problems with latency with several projects that consist of around 5 VST's or more. The CPU Load chart reads around the high 80's to sometimes 99 range. My project gets to the point where you can't even listen all the way through because it's so distorted. I recently bought an M-Audio Fast Track Pro interface thinking that this would resolve that issue, but I still continue to get problems. Everyone on the forum was asking if I had a soundcard and whatnot, and at that point when I first posted about this latency problem, I did not have one. This is one problem that I have had with FL for a while now and it still has not been resolved, and it's getting very agitating as you can understand, because it forces me to limit myself with VST usage and we shouldn't have to do that with our music. Is it just FL Studio itself that takes up a massive amount of CPU? I hear that's the reason why it costs less than the other DAW's our there on the market. I don't know...but if anyone could please shed some light on this subject I would greatly appreciate that very much. Thank you!

Johnny
