My drum programming workflow fully mirrors that of aumordia and what he said about the pros and cons (the long post) applies to me, respectively.
So, some improvements on FPC UI - sample names, colors/icons on the pads - and its sample editing options would fasten the whole process a lot. Obviously, not everybody uses FPC's piano roll for drums, but for users who want full (manual) control over every single hit, the (FPC style) piano roll is the most convenient way.
