Plugin effects

Hello all. When selecting effects to a mixer channel, and then selecting the "more" from the effects menu, I get my additional plugin effects. I notice that there are check boxes with "F"'s in the FL effects and none in my plugin effects. I also notice that by clicking on the box's next to my plugins it will put the F in there. What is this F for and should I leave them empty or with F's? Thanks.
