Native Instruments Kore 2

Mackie.jpg
Setup: Unzip the Mackie Kontrol FL file in your Documents\Native Instruments\Controller Editor folder. In the NI Controller Editor (version 1.7.4 or below), go to Open Template and select the .nck file. The template is now added to the list and automatically uploaded to Kore.
In FL, set the Input and Output ports of the NI Kore 2 to 160, and select Mackie Control Universal for controller type.

Note: you can add pages to the template to send midi CC. All the default pages send MCU controls, not midi.

In the default Mackie kore template, Enter and Esc are Rewind and FFW. I found that in order to make the best arrangement of pages I needed to replace Rewind with Shift. Esc is rewind. You can still fast-forward by using touch controls on the knobs in the Edison and Navigation pages. Good times.
Bank L and Bank R are always Control and Sound.

FL Studio Page

From here you can control the Master Fader, open an instance of Edison, enable Metronome and Countdown, switch between Pattern or Song mode, select Time Display and Insert. Press Snap to turn snap on/off, hold to change snap settings with the jog wheel. Hold Zoom to zoom in or out with the jog wheel.

File Page

Save Project, Right-click menu, ESC and Enter are also Yes and No when pressing Shift, add marker at current play position, open the browser, open the channel rack, and hold Nudge to move selection left or right with the jog wheel.

Edit Page

Standard edition commands are in here. To select, move to desired position, press From, use jog wheel to make selection, then press Select. Menu will open the menu of whatever you have focused, then you use the jog wheel to select.

Edison - Hold Shift Page
Edison.jpg
This page is mostly a copy of the Edit page but labeled for use with Edison. Hold shift to use the buttons as described; not for the knobs.

Navigation Page
Nav.jpg
Here you can move the current track left or right, use the arrows to scroll around, hold Mark to move to the next or previous marker with the jog wheel, hold Wdw to cycle focus between currently visible windows with the jog wheel.

Selection Page
Select.jpg
All buttons in this page are meant to be held and used with the jog wheel. Use to select pattern, mixer channel, rack channel, and change the tempo. You can also freely assign 4 controls to the jog wheel.

Mixer Page
Mixer.jpg
This is where you select what the Vpots control between pan (Mixer), stereo width, sends (you can find any send with the bank controls), FX levels, the mixer EQ, and a freely assignable page. Flip makes the Vpots control the volume faders instead. Smooth enables smoothing in the FL remote control.

The remaining pages are the same that come with the default Mackie Kore template. They are used for standard control of the mixer.

Note: you only get visual feedback for the volume faders, the master fader and the scrub, play/stop buttons. The Vpots and buttons have no visual feedback.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
