i thought ide list my favorites (im bored to DEATH! skipping class was a bad idea but meh, its highschool )
this was love at first sight for me. it was the only tracker i stayed with (and still use)
upside: comes with some great plugins, really helpful community, COMES WITH AN FL STUDIO SKIN! (you have to go through your options and turn it on tho)
Downside: a pattern sequencer (pretty much the same thing as the playlist in FL) was promised like 2 years ago, but still hasnt shown up yet.
just tried this one recently. its quite fun
Upside: Really nice interphase, VERY easy on the eyes, aiso compatible.
Downside: does not come with plugins.
now this one isnt a tracker, but its amaizing and i cant not mention it:
LMMS (Linux Multimedia Studio)
this one actually has a demosong i made on it (years ago, i personally think the song sucked) it was the reason i got linux on my other PC.
Upside: ALL FL USERS will feel at home with this. the developer of it was a former fl user, and based LMMS off of FL., a Piano roll that is JUST AS GOOD AS FL'S!, some very basic, but really fun stock plugins. LMMS has the ability to load Windows based VSTi plugins Via WINE. Comes with some really good stock samples.
Downside: only renders to .OGG and .WAV, not MP3 (really, this isnt a problem tho)
