Request/Question: Allow resizing from left

Hi,

I'm uncertain whether i should post this as a feature request or not. Because i don't know if it's even possible. Please enlighten me

It's fairly simple:

Playlist menu > Edit > 'Allow resizing from left', the way i see it, is only something like 'Allow cut from left'. There is no way to make a clip (Pattern, Audio and Automation) bigger by dragging it's left side to the left. This menu option could be so much more.

Practice example:

How do you go from picture 1 to picture 2? (Gross Beat clip)

TL;DR / Bottom line:

It would be much more convenient if 'Allow resizing from left' would really allow for resizing... making clips bigger that is. Can this be implemented? If you need me to explain any further, please ask.
