Mc UB wrote:Wow, startup time in this RC has drastically improved!! I've always looked at the startup 'fruit' growing steadily smaller until finally the main window pops-up, fully loaded. Now the main window pops up in seconds and then the plugins (of my template) start loading. Much better!! Thanks!
What version did you compare with?
Uhm, basically all previous versions? Starting mostly at 12.0 but that's mainly because then I stepped away from the default template to starting up with my own. From that point on I was used to first seeing the fruit for quite a while and then FL pops up with the template fully loaded.

This time I was even startled at how fast it got up the main window, and then I could just see all plugins get loaded. I think also a bit faster. Haha, usually I can easily roll my cigaret before it's open, now I only just gotten a rolling paper out :D :D

Currently still on an old i3 processor with only 4GB ram, I wasn't surprised before it took longer so I never mentioned it. But this speed improvement deserved a mention! :D

Suggestion: why not include an option to load with the last project worked on already loaded instead of a template?

regards, Frank
