When working with the piano roll, sometimes I discover that by error I have placed one or more notes on top of another (usually with shift-drag copy). Since the notes have the same pitch and velocity, this is very difficult to detect visually. However, when the notes are played you usually realize that a particular note sounds louder due to more than one note been played at once. When you delete the note using the right mouse button, all the notes in the slot get removed. The only way to reveal that there are more notes there is dragging the top note with the mouse. Is there an easier way to detect these duplicated notes? I know that you can group notes using colors, but that is done on purpose and this problem happens inadvertently. Is it possible to list the notes in an event list and to highlight overlaid notes to catch this problem visually?
