Propper instalation of DX10...did i do something wrong?

Can anyone please take me throught the correct instalation process, to ensure i have installed my dx10 plugin correctly?

I'm trying to use it with Sony Acid Music Studio, however it wont show up in its list of plugins.

I chose to install it in a folder called "vstplugins", and it does show up in that folder, but not Acid.

Any help would be greatly apreciated, because i purchased this plugin a while ago and have not been able to use it or contact anyone for help...
