Edison Marker Auto Naming?

Is there a way to get Edison to auto name markers/regions in Edison?

I'm asking cause I do a lot of drum loop chopping to create my own oneshots and it can get time-consuming to go thru manually and label each marker/region one-by-one. It would be convenient if Edison were able to somehow analyze a selected portion of a waveform (a hi-hat for example), set a name for it ("hi-hat"), and then analyze the entire drum loop waveform & auto-detect for other instances of a similar transient waveform to that one and automatically place a marker and name it. Not sure if that is possible, but it would sure save me a lot of time marking and naming each hi hat one-by-one on a drum loop.

If there is a more efficient way of marking and naming transients that anyone knows of, please let me know.
