Chopping notes in the FPC Piano Roll Question

I want to change the hi hats to a more constant beat and then roll it at the end of the beat
Is there a way to edit just the hats ? When I hightlight the hi hat long 4 bar note and choose the chop option from the edit tool
it chops the snares and the kicks also, even when I have the Hi hat only highlighted.

What I want to do is actually draw a long note the length of 4 bars and then chop it into 1/32 or 1/16 notes and roll it off at the end of 4 bars.
This has been frustrating me for several days now.

Any help would be greatly appreciated or any alternative suggestions to edits notes on the FPC
would help me out.
