The contest did end. MvR has won it.
Now the monthly contest goes into the next round. As the winner of the last one, i have the honor to get you creative by alienate the samples in FL Studio.
You can use every sample inside FL Studio that comes with the installation, but no synthesizer. In the channel rack the Sampler, DirectWave, FPC, Wave Traveller, Fruity Granulizer, Automations, Fruity Envelope Controller & Layer are allowed. You can use whatever effects you want in the mixer that come with FL Studio. Fruity Convolver & Patcher only if they don't elude the main rules. The audio files you use, you have to use them in another way than it was meant to be. I give you a few examples and those are only examples, you can turn them into anything you want just not what it was meant to be:
Don't use a kick as a kick, cut it with ADSR and change it till it becomes a hihat.
Don't use a basslead as a bass or lead, use it to make a pad out of it, a kick or something else.
Don't use a FX as FX, make a clap out of it.
Don't use a vocal as a vocal, turn it into a FX.
Don't use an openhihat as a hihat, use it to make a lead out of it.
I think it's clear but if you still have a question, ask me, i try to give a quick answer.
The length of the track should be between 1:30 & 5 minutes
You can add as many submissions as you want but 1 submission per post in this thread with both a mp3 and flp (no zip file)
collaborations are allowed
If you update your project till the end of the contest give me a hint so i can upload the end version in the voting thread.
The contest ends on the January 31st at 3 pm german/berlin time and you'll be able to vote for the entrys for 5 days.
The winner choose the rules for the next contest.
