Audio Stutters/ Underruns Solved - Edison!

If your project starts to stutter on playback you may have left Edison recording as I did without realising! I thought the project had got to large and complicated as the FL CPU and Memory indicator at the top right of the interface showed a larger than normal Memory. I went all round the houses changing the ASIO latency etc. to no avail. It was when I downloaded the Project Bones I could see in the file that Edison had about 500MB in it. I simply reopened the project and sure enough the red recording button in Edison was on and the file was over a half hour long, stopping and deleting this returned the Memory to half the amount and the playback returned to normal. I could find no pointers to why audio glitches/ stutters/ underruns happen other than all the ASIO and hardware references yet the answer was very simple. So I now remember to stop Edison after recording, sometimes I hit the stop on the main interface and this time had forgotten to press stop on Edison afterwards.

Hope this helps someone.

Neil  :-)
