Re: Big Bag Remix Contest - PUT ENTRIES HERE

Stranded Paragon wrote:I have spent approximately 3 1/2 hours analyzing some logistical data associated with Image-Line's & Yob's "FL Studio 20th anniversary: Big Bag Remix Contest"; that in the spirit of friendly camaraderie to everyone from all various skill levels who are interested in participating, I will make available the information I have gathered concerning the Channel rack (F6), specifically each of the channel's panning and volume, and the Mixer (F9) including specifics of the Inserts (which I'll refer to as Tracks from here on), Slots, and Mixer EQ (Respectively). This list is not all inclusive and should not inherently reflect the outline and design of your project in specific, please refer back to the top of this thread (viewtopic.php?f=100&t=181816) for the rules regarding your submission. Hopefully, this will provide you with an accelerated start in beginning your own remix of this wonderfully whimsical song!

Please double check your own work before relying on the accuracy of the values reported here:

*quick note to site administrator(s): I would request that you consider this as also 1 of 3 of my submission slots as I will be submitting an entry associated with this information in an effort to provide transparency in remixing this project for educational purposes for newer or unfamiliar users!

**quick note regarding Mixer EQ: bands 1, 2, & 3 have a default setting of [27%] for width, sequentially [9%, 51%, & 85%] for frequency, and [50%] for level(s)!

***quick note concerning information: there will be natural reductions in relationship of first explicitly labeling an introduction to each section of particular settings and either abbreviating recurring labels or leaving out full descriptions!

The whole project is set to POST latency compensation, consider this factor when either working on or rendering your submission.

I took an extra 2 hours and 50 minutes to elaborate this, please take advantage of this document and copy or alter it for your own use! If you're unfamiliar with these terms or what these settings affect in FL Studio (12), as always, consult Help / about (F1) to glean knowledge concerning your digital audio workstation [This message was brought to you by the Association for the Preservation of Endangered Manuals]!

you've failed to take into account the send from track 3 vox to track 99 vox FX. That routing is *CRUCIAL* to the entire mix and basically is the *secret sauce* that otherwise would have made the track a *lame duck.* Sorry. Your analysis is null and void. Please take another six hours to re-check and verify. Much thanks.
