I just exported a track from FL Studio that should clearly have a lot of clipping, but the entire track turned out hard-limited. The audio driver is a Focusrite USB ASIO using a Focusrite Scarlett interface. Unlike FL Studio ASIO, I cannot go into the driver options via Audio Options and disable hard limiting. Could it still be the audio interface doing this? I just want to know if it's likely.
To be clear, I do not have a limiting plugin enabled in the master insert.
Can an audio interface limit my mix upon export?
