Automation curve maths

Hi there! I was wondering if anyone knew the math behind the curves used in several parts of FL (such as automations). Below are some screenshots of the kind of curve I'm talking about.

I need this math because I want to use something similar in a VST plugin I'm making.

So what I can gather, there's a starting point, ending point, and some kind of "tension" value ranging from -1 to 1 (high to low), but I can't really find any curve that fits FL's behavior.

Also, I was thinking the middle point is calculated after the calculation of the curve, rather than the curve being based on the actual tension position (since the cursor is hidden and the curve doesn't move as fast when you're dragging the mouse).

Any help or hints would be greatly appreciated! :mrgreen: (I hope this is the right forum to post this, too.. :oops: )
