Behavior change: double-click on playlist used to open editor

Sorry if someone mentioned this above here, but the change is annoying (using latest beta)

(double clicking on things on the playlist used to open the relevant editor, but no longer does).

Is that permanent, or an boo-boo in the beta? It really slows-down the workflow.
